Just when new life begins, everything else stops.
no dishes
no cooking
no laundry
no taking my girls to school
no blogging, no emails
no routine, no beach
no world crisis
no traffic

On the way home from the hospital with a new baby girl, I find it odd that life only halted for me.
And then life goes on just as I left it, a bit more complex, a bit more complete.
I can’t imagine how it was without her.
Her name is Mika, and she is 8 days old. She is healthy and beautiful and everything I can wish for.
